Our cleaning staff is trained to use the most gentle and effective cleaning solutions for your home. These natural products will disinfect, clean, and polish just as well as any other products – but without the nasty harsh chemicals.
Chemicals are less safe for our staff, and also for you and your family.
The only products that Clean for Good will use in a home that are not extremely gentle are fume-free oven cleaner, Jif, and stain steel polisher. If we need to use something else, we will let you know in advance.
The first cleaning always takes the longest because our aim is to bring your home up to maintenance level. The time this takes will depend on several factors, including:
1. The number of people and pets living in the home
2. The current level of buildup
3. The design of your home
4. The size of your home

Weekly and bi-weekly cleans are our most popular recurring services. Regular cleaning keeps your home looking beautifully fresh and neat, and it cuts down the amount of time we spend cleaning (so you save money!)
We also offer monthly or sporadic cleaning services. However, each visit will take longer than a regular clean due to the natural buildup of dirt and grime.
Each home has its own unique needs, so the time we spend cleaning your home might be quite different from the time we spend at your neighbour’s!
For this reason, we can’t always estimate how long your regular cleans will take until our team gets to know your home. After that, the time we spend cleaning will usually be quite consistent.
We love all pets, but you know your pets better than we do. If your pet is comfortable being around new people, especially new people making loud noises (vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, etc), then having your pet at home should be just fine.
However, to ensure everyone is safe and comfortable, we recommend that you keep your pet in a crate or a separate room during our visit. This is especially important if your pet is not comfortable around new people or noises we will be making.
Clean for Good only hires staff who are comfortable with pets. However, we have trained our cleaners to leave the home immediately if a pet is acting in a threatening manner towards them. We will then contact you to discuss options for future cleaning.

We will always change the master bedroom linen, so please leave fresh linen on the bed. We can also change other linen and do your laundry, but these services must be requested in advance to ensure we have enough time during the visit.
No, only if you would like to be. Upon booking, we will ask you if you will be home or how we will be able to enter the home if you are not going to be there.
The majority of our regular clients trust our insured house cleaning professionals with a spare key or a key code to enter the home.
Simply complete our estimate request form (link) and Clean For Good will contact you within 24 hours with an estimate. We will also clarify any other details you may have specified in the form.
Upon booking your cleaning service, you will receive a confirmation email along with our client guidelines for you to sign and return to us prior to our visit. It’s as easy as that!

Absolutely! We have plenty of clients that request on-offs. We charge hourly, and will discuss a priority list for your visit to ensure we hit those main areas in the time we have!*
*Please note that bookings have a two-hour minimum.
We will send you an invoice via email after your cleaning. This is due upon receipt.
You can pay with a debit card or direct payment to our bank account.
Please note that we cannot provide further services until an invoice has been paid. We are happy to return when this is done!
We understand that life can throw curveballs and you may need to cancel a booking.
To help us avoid last-minute cancellations, we will send reminder emails and text notifications prior to your cleaning.
Clean For Good has a 48-hour notice cancellation policy. You can email, call, or text us to cancel a booking, as long as it is within 48 hours of our visit.
If you are unable to provide 48 hours’ notice, you will be charged 50% of your cleaning fee. Same-day cancellations will incur a 100% charge of the cleaning fee.
Clean for Good only hires cleaners who have integrity. That means we will always be honest about an issue – we will never sweep it under the rug.
Our cleaners are meticulously careful and respectful of your space. But they are also human, and accidents can happen.
If anything is broken or damaged, our staff will photograph it and report it immediately. They have been trained to do this and they know they will not be reprimanded. When the damage is reported to us, we will contact you to discuss a quick and fair resolution.
We will always do our best to repair or replace an item that is broken. Each residential cleaner is fully insured, and therefore an insurance claim can be filed when applicable. If you have items that are irreplaceable or of significant value, we ask that you put these away or in a safe place during the cleaning.
Please communicate any concerns you may have when you make your booking. Please also note that we do not replace or repair items that had existing damage or were improperly installed.
